Gift cards help increase potential sales and attract new customers. Integrating gift cards into your store interface should be intuitive and easy to use, from purchase to payment. A smooth experience buying and using gift cards will bring satisfaction to both the buyer and the recipient.

1. How to access Gift card?

Step 01: From Shopify Admin, click on Online Store > Select Theme > In the Current theme section, click the Customize button.

Step 02: In the theme editor (Customize), click to open dropdown pages in the topbar > select Gift card

Step 3: In the Sections tab > click to the Gift card

2. How to customize Gift card?

1. General

• Color scheme: Selects the color palette for the section, ensuring harmony with the overall website design and creating a unified visual experience
• Background image: Upload an image for the desktop version (3000 x 1800px .jpg recommended. The image can cut a little bit off one of the edges)
• Mobile background image: Upload an image for the mobile version (3600 x 2000px .jpg recommended. The image can cut a little bit off one of the edges)
• **Logo **(The shop name will be displayed if there is no logo): Upload your store's logo image to help build brand recognition.
• **Logo max width: **Set the maximum width for the logo to display. This helps you control the size of the logo

2. Custom CSS

In the Gift card > click open Custom CSS tab

Allows users to customize by adding CSS rules, beyond the limitations of default settings. This allows for fine-tuning the design to every detail, to suit specific needs.

Add custom styles to this section only.

To add custom styles to your entire online store, go to Theme Settings

3. How to use Gift card?

Step 1: From Shopify admin > select Products tab > choose Gift cards > click Create gift card button in the top right corner of the screen

Step 2: Enter Gift card code (or leave it as default) and Initial value > select Expiration date: No expiration date or Set expiration date > select an existing customer in the list or create a new one > select Send gift card now or later > click Save button

Step 3: After Save & Send gift card > go to your email to check, now Shopify will send you a gift card with a code

Step 4: Copy & paste the gift card code into the Gift card field on the checkout page > click Apply button to receive a discount from this gift card
